2. Legal Use of E-Bikes & E-Scooters (UK)
- E-Bikes: Must comply with EAPC regulations: max 250W, motor assistance ≤15.5 mph, riders ≥14 years old. Allowed on cycle paths, roads, but not pavements.
- E-Scooters: Private e-scooters are illegal on public roads or pavements; only allowed on private land with permission. Rental e-scooters follow trial regulations, riders ≥16 years, must hold provisional license, and use designated areas.
- You are responsible for legal compliance and safety.
3. Account Responsibilities
- Must be ≥18 years old to create an account.
- Keep account credentials confidential.
- Notify us of unauthorized use immediately.
4. Purchases & Payments
- Payment via major cards, PayPal, Shop Pay, Google Pay, UnionPay, Discover, Diners Club.
- Third-party payment processors handle transactions; we do not store card data.
- Orders may be canceled if unauthorized, fraudulent, or incorrect.
5. Returns & Refunds
- 14-day return policy from delivery date.
- Refunds processed within 5–7 business days after inspection.
6. Warranty
- Standard 1-year manufacturer warranty (motor, battery, frame).
- Extended warranty may apply per product page.
7. Intellectual Property
- All content, trademarks, and logos belong to Swift Ebike Hub or licensors.
8. Limitation of Liability & Disclaimer
- Services provided “as-is”.
- Swift Ebike Hub is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
9. Governing Law
- Laws of the United Kingdom apply.
- Disputes handled under UK jurisdiction.
